Introduction
In 2010 under the title of ‘Four in a boat’ the editor of the Oban Times West Coast Review magazine invited various individuals to answer the following questions: ‘Where in Argyll would you travel to by boat? Who would you take with you? – One person from history, another from your childhood, and someone you love.’ Murdoch was one of those invited and the following article appeared in the June 2010 issue.
